WELCOME TO THE NORSEY  WOOD SOCIETY

The Society works closely with Basildon Borough Council,

 the owner and manager of this ancient woodland (located in Billericay in the English County of Essex) to promote the interests of this

Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM),

 Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

The Society holds illustrated talks usually in January, March, June and October on various aspects of ecology, conservation and natural history. These are held on Mondays at 7.45 pm at the Billericay Day Centre in Chantry Chase down by the side of the Chequers pub in the High Street
